Our Team

Dr. Montecillo calls Redmond her home after living all over the world. She was born in Egypt and raised in England where her parents were both studying medicine. Dr. Montecillo moved to Redmond to attend the University of Washington, where she attained her BS in Psychology. In 1998 she went on to Pacific University and earned her Doctorate in Optometry. Since graduation, she has been practicing right here in Redmond. In 2004, she joined Dr. Forrey at Redmond Eye Doctors and in 2007 she took over ownership.

Dr. Montecillo specializes in relief for dry eyes. She has many solutions to remedy that itchy, sandy, tired feeling. Our patients love her dry eye treatments.

Dr. Montecillo partners with the Lion’s club for low income support and has participated in health care missions in third world countries. She is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish and Arabic. In her free time she enjoys dancing and traveling with her husband and two children.

Dr. Gouin was born and raised in Port Angeles, Washington. He completed his undergraduate education at Western Washington University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University and completed the examination process through the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He also completed externship optometric programs at Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis Washington, The Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Tucson Arizona, and Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center serving the Native American community of Warm Springs Oregon.

He joined the Redmond Eye Doctors team in 2011. Prior to joining Redmond Eye Doctors, Dr. Gouin provided diseased based eye care and management at several nursing and rehab facilities around the Puget Sound. Dr. Gouin is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.

Dr. Kikuchi is a Pacific Northwest and Seattle-area native.  Dr. Kikuchi received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Doctorate of Optometry degree while attending Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR.  Upon graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2001, he returned home to the Seattle area where he joined a private practice which emphasized both primary care and medical optometry.  He joined the Redmond Eye Doctors team in 2019.

While at Pacific University, Dr. Kikuchi was active on the baseball and tennis teams.  While in Pacific’s optometry program, Dr. Kikuchi participated on two eye care mission trips to El Salvador and Romania.  Dr. Kikuchi graduated from Pacific’s optometry program with distinction and received Pacific University’s President’s Award.  He has served on Pacific University’s Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Professionally, Dr. Kikuchi is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometric Physicians of Washington, and is a Past-President for the King County Optometric Society.  He has volunteered optometric services for local school vision screenings.

In his free time, Dr. Kikuchi enjoys spending time with his wife and three children trying various local restaurants and traveling.  He is an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast.  Often you may find him out on the waters fishing, out on the courts playing tennis, skiing down the slopes, or enjoying a Seattle Seahawks or Mariners game.
